Scent Families

Every fragrance belongs to a scent family — a broad category that describes its dominant character. Understanding scent families is the easiest way to start identifying what you love.

Citrus — Bright, fresh, and energizing. Citrus scents are built on zesty notes of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and orange. Uplifting and effortless, they're perfect for everyday wear and warmer months.

Woody — Warm, earthy, and grounding. Woody fragrances are anchored by notes like sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, and oud. They feel sophisticated, long-lasting, and deeply satisfying on the skin.

Fruity — Vibrant, juicy, and playful. Fruity fragrances go beyond citrus into the lush territory of peach, blackcurrant, raspberry, fig, and pear. They're fun, youthful, and often surprisingly complex.

Floral — The most classic of all fragrance families. Floral scents range from soft and powdery to rich and intoxicating, built on notes like rose, jasmine, tuberose, peony, and lily. If you love fresh flowers, start here.

Green — Fresh, crisp, and natural. Green fragrances evoke cut grass, leaves, stems, and the outdoors. They feel clean and alive — like a walk through a garden after rain.

Aquatic — Light, airy, and reminiscent of open water. Aquatic fragrances capture the feeling of sea air, ocean spray, and cool breezes. They're some of the most universally wearable scents in perfumery.

Clean — Fresh, soft, and comforting. Clean fragrances evoke the feeling of freshly laundered skin — think white musk, soft woods, and gentle florals. Understated and endlessly wearable.

Vanilla — Warm, creamy, and deeply comforting. Vanilla fragrances range from soft and skin-like to rich and gourmand. They're universally loved, long-lasting, and incredibly versatile.

Musk — Intimate, sensual, and skin-close. Musk fragrances sit close to the skin and enhance your natural warmth. They can be powdery, clean, animalic, or velvety — and they make everything they touch more addictive.

Fragrance Strength

Not all perfumes are created equal. The concentration of fragrance oil determines how strong a scent is, how long it lasts, and how far it projects.

Parfum / Extrait de Parfum — The most concentrated form, typically 20–40% fragrance oil. Parfum lasts the longest on skin — often 8 hours or more — and projects beautifully with just one or two sprays.

Eau de Parfum (EDP) — The most popular concentration for niche fragrance, typically 15–20% fragrance oil. EDPs offer excellent longevity (6–8 hours) and are versatile enough for any occasion. Most of our collection falls in this category.

Eau de Toilette (EDT) — Lighter and fresher, typically 8–15% fragrance oil. EDTs are ideal for daytime wear and warmer months. They tend to be airier and more casual in feel. Our Escentric Molecules collection is a great EDT example.

Rule of thumb - Lower concentration = large scent cloud/projection.  Higher concentration = longer it lasts on skin.
